Arroz Caldo

 

Chicken Legs and Thighs, chopped 

Garlic. chopped

Onion, sliced thinly

Ginger,julienne (lots)

Fish Sauce

Lemon

Ground Pepper

2 cups (gatang) Rice

Water

Green Onions

 

Marinate chicken in fish sauce, lemon and ground black pepper.

Saute garlic until golden brown. Set aside.

Saute ginger until cooked, then add onions until translusent.

Add chicken, mix well.

When chicken is well cooked add rice. Mix well before adding water.

Add water, season with some salt while still cold.

Boil until rice is done. 

Serve with the golden brown garlic and green onions.
