1 1/2 cups mung bean sprouts (togue)
1 cup small shrimps
1 medium sized sweet potato , julienned
Chopped green onions
1 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 piece egg
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/4 cups water
Mix cornstarch, flour, baking powder, egg, water, salt, and ground black pepper. Set aside.
Saute garlic and onions.
Add the shrimps, season with salt.
Add sweet potatoes. Season with salt. Remove from fire.
Mix in mung bean sprouts and green onions. Let it cool.
Mix into the batter.,
Heat a frying pan,when the oil is hot enough, scoop about 2 to 3 tablespoons of the mixture and drop it in hot oil.
Cook each side for 2 to 3 minutes or until the color turns golden brown.
