ENSALADANG AMPALAYA

Ampalaya

Tomatoes

Red Onion

Salt

Pepper

Vinegar

Pinch of Sugar

 

Slice ampalaya in half. Remove seeds. Slice thinly.

Sprinkle with salt, sugar and vinegar. Mix gently with fingers. Soak for 10 minutes.

Wash off with water and squeeze out the liquid from the ampalaya.

Add diced tomatoes and onions.

Add freshly ground pepper.

Serve cold.
